Training Web Sites

Training for Financial Aid Professionals (TFAP). At the TFAP site, you can find out about upcoming training register for workshops and obtain copies of training materials for the most recently completed workshops. Please note that a new browser will open when you select this hyperlink.

Computer Based Training (also available via the TFAP website)

EDExpress Basics CBT - Self-paced training that teaches basic skills required to access and navigate the EDExpress and EDconnect software. A beginning user learns the functionality and practices using the software in a simulated environment. This product is strongly recommended before attending EDExpress classroom training. Recommended for financial aid office professionals who have day-to-day responsibilities for using EDExpress. A 508 compliant version is also available. Users of that product will need to have EDExpress 9.1 installed and download additional EDExpress Training software and data files.

FSA Coach CBT - A free, web-based, computer-based training (CBT) program from the U.S. Department of Education. It is a comprehensive introductory course that teaches the concepts and procedures involved in managing federal student aid (FSA) programs authorized under Title IV of the Higher Education Act.
