The EDE Technical Reference provides programmer specifications, record layouts, and other detailed information for schools or other organizations that need to design software systems to interface with the U.S. Department of Education's application processing system. For information regarding April 2008 updates to the 2008-2009 EDE Technical Reference, consult the tracking log of changes posted with the reference. The updated 2008-2009 EDE Technical Reference and tracking log of changes are available in PDF format on the Information for Financial Aid Professionals (IFAP) Web site, located at http://ifap.ed.gov.
