These instructions are meant to be an aid to using
EDExpress Basics. Due
to internet security settings determined by your institution more
adjustments may need to be made by your computer support
team.
EDExpress Basics uses an additional program to make the
software work and the following steps should help to be able to
allow that program to work.
You will need to turn off the
protected mode in Internet Explorer.
Open Internet Explorer
and go to Tools, Internet Options. Click to remove the check
box labeled, "Enable Protected Mode (requires restarting Internet
Explorer)".
Next you must close Internet
Explorer.
Open
Internet Explorer and go to EDExpress
Basics.
Left
click on Traditional WBT link.
Then you should get a pop-up bar that crosses the Internet
Explorer just below the menu bar indicating that Internet Explorer
has restricted this site from showing certain
content.
Right click on
the bar as shown below.
Then left click Add-on Disabled and left click Run
Add-on.
After completing
the step above, you should get a screen that looks like the
following:
Click on Run and EDExpress Basics should open.
