There are three distinct sections to a loan record in EDExpress: borrower information, promissory note information, and loan information. If any of these three are not complete, a Direct Loan will not originate.
You have one student whose Direct Loan you plan to originate manually. Complete all of the necessary information on the Origination tab to originate this student's loan.
To originate a loan using manual entry, you will:
· Create the Subsidized Loan
· Create and Originate the Unsubsidized Loan
