PIN
The PIN, initially assigned by the CPS, allows students to sign a FAFSA or Renewal FAFSA on the Web. Students request a PIN by filling out the online form at http://fafsa.ed.gov/. Once the request is completed, the PIN is mailed to the applicant within 7 to 10 days. PINS are automatically sent to all FAFSA on the Web filers and graduate students. The PIN also allows FAAs to use the FAA Access to CPS Online Web site (http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/FAA/faa.htm) and utilize the Application Processing functionality in 2004-2005 EDExpress. For more information on enrolling in SAIG and receiving PINs go to https://www.fsawebenroll.ed.gov/.
