We are pleased to provide
you with a draft copy dated 7/30/2004 of the 2005-2006 Student Aid Report (SAR)
and a draft copy dated 7/09/2004 of the SAR Acknowledgment
The overall format of the 2005-2006 SAR has not changed from the 2004-2005 SAR
currently in use. The SAR will be printed on green paper. The SAR will continue
to be in a letter format and will provide instructions about the student's eligibility
status, verification requirements and information on how to correct any assumptions
made during processing.
The order of the data elements is the same as the order on the 2005-2006 Free
Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The FAA Information section will
continue to allow the Financial Aid Administrator to find out every piece of
information about a student's eligibility in one place. Also, the National Student
Loan Data System (NSLDS) section will display aggregate amounts only with standard
text regarding repayments.
